When you’re looking for a new kitchen appliance there are a few things you need to consider…

Cost

First and foremost, if you’re on a budget, you don’t want to be spending more than you can on a waffle iron or other appliance.

No matter what your budget, you want to get the machine that best fits your needs.

(If you’re on a strict budget, garage sales and thrift stores may be an option, though the quality of the equipment may be vary)

Budget – Medium Cost- Higher cost

Quality

No one wants to use a machine (especially one that gets hot) that fall apart, loses it’s nonstick coating, break or is¬†potentially hazardous (start fires).

Be sure to read reviews and buy from a trusted manufacturer, so you can buy a product that will last years to come.

*Many machines come with warranties

Versatility

Depending on your space and needs you may want a single function or multi-function machine.

While most single function machines work better then their all in one counterparts, you can often save money and space by buying one, all-in-one over many kitchen appliances

Single Function – All-in-One

Capacity

How many waffles can you make at once?

Making waffles one at a time is fine for a single or couple but if you entertain, or have a family, a larger iron is most likely a good idea.

Appearance

While this may not matter to everyone, it is often possible to get a machine that matches the decor of your kitchen.

Brushed steel appliances that match your refrigerator or stove can really pull a room together.
